By visiting the website of the Western Province Motor Traffic Department https://www.motortraffic.wp.gov.lk, vehicle revenue permits for vehicles registered in the Western Province can be obtained online.

Do not apply online if you have not obtained the vehicle revenue licence for more than two years.

If the vehicle revenue licence for a bicycle, a three-wheeler or a land vehicle has not been obtained for 5 years including the current year, it should be obtained from the Head Office at Maligawatta.

If the revenue licence for any other type of vehicle has not been obtained for for 3 years including the current year, it should be obtained from the Head Office at Maligawatta.
