Issue of Conductor License 
Issued to conductors of all private buses in the Western Province.
License Authority is the Provincial Department of Motor Traffic, Western Province.
The license fee is 500 rupees for a conductor.


Qualifications

  1. Completion of 18 years of age
  2. Passed year 8 or higher exam (Medium- Sinhala, English, Tamil)
  3. Good character
  4. Good health

Documents

  1. Birth Certificate (Original with copy)
  2. Highest educational qualification (Originals and copies)
  3. Two character certificates, (One should be from the Grama Niladhari)
  4. Two 2”, 2 and 1/2” sized photographs (Character Certificate and photographs should be taken  6 months prior to the date of application)
